Wimbledon Drop Down The League After Defeat

Wimbledon 0 v Rotherham 1

Wimbledon dropped another league place on Saturday (December 15) after a home defeat against promotion hopefuls Rotherham United.

The Dons are now just a point off the relegation zone, with Bristol Rovers and Barnet still below them in League Two. They both also lost on Saturday.

The breakthrough in the game was made by Rotherham substitute Kieran Agard, who scored a goal from nowhere on the 79th minute when his header went in off the post.

Wimbledon goalkeeper Neil Sullivan came forward for an injury time corner, but the ball was over-hit and the chance was lost.
