Pensioner assaulted in broad daylight

Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses after a pensioner was assaulted in Wimbledon Village.

The incident took place outside the Tesco Express on Wimbledon Hill Road, between 1.15pm and 2.15pm on Saturday (May 26).

Officers say a 91-year-old man was assaulted outside the store at this time.
