Louie Spence Sets Wimbledon's Winter Wonderland Alive


Wimbledon Buzzing For Christmas Lights Turn-On

TV star Louie Spence turned on the Christmas lights in Wimbledon on Thursday (November 25) as part of the town centre's Winter Wonderland 2010 event.

Wimbledon Winter Wonderland brought the town centre alive with a parade, fireworks, celebrities, live music and dance as well as gift and food stalls. Among the event sponsors were this site: www.wimbledonsw19.com

The highlights of the evening included fireworks from the rooftop of Centre Court Shopping Centre, with Louie Spence entertaining the watching crowds with his live commentary.

Spence (left), the former dancer, who stars in the Sky One reality show following life at Pineapple Dance Studios, also turned on the Christmas lights.

He will be appearing in Peter Pan at the New Wimbledon Theatre from December 10-January 16, along with David Hasselhoff.

Winter Wonderland also included a parade, with local schools, community groups, dancers and entertainers taking part.

Earlier on, the piazza was buzzing with live music and dance as well as gift and food stalls.

AFC Wimbledon took over the station forecourt where they ran a human football game and sold merchandise from their stand.
