The star of the next Spider-Man movie has been revealed as former Wimbledon schoolboy Tom Holland.
Tom, aged 19, first trod the boards at the Nifty Feet Dance School in Wimbledon and was also a pupil at Wimbledon College.
He is best known for playing the lead in the stage version of Billy Elliot and has also appeared in the TV series Wolf Hall.
Sony Motion Pictures are set to release the superhero movie in 2017.
Sony Pictures Motion Pictures Group Chairman, Tom Rothman, said: "For Spidey himself, we saw many terrific young actors, but Tom’s screen tests were special – all in all, we are off to a roaring start."
