As Wimbledon Park Bowls Club come to the end of their 110th year, club members are reflecting on one of the most successful seasons they have had.

In addition to the Surrey Senior Men's Fours title that club members won earlier in the season, followed by a top 16 finish at the National Championships, recent successes have seen Wimbledon Park's bowlers in no fewer than six of the Wimbledon and District Bowls Association finals.

Club members Barry Willingham, Richard Simioni and Neil Winter won the Men's Triples, with Barry and Neil taking the Men's Pairs and Neil completing the hat-trick by winning the Men's Singles.

Claire Tomkin, George Dima, Sabrina Dima and Martin Jewitt were Runners-Up in the District Mixed Fours competition, with Sabrina also Runner-Up in the Ladies Singles and Neil Runner Up in the Mixed Singles.

Further success came for the whole club, as they managed their ninth consecutive win to lift the Wimbledon and District League title for the first time with an 8 point win over second placed South London, winning by 117 points to 109.
