Wimbledon Man Arrested In Early Morning Police Raids

A total of 27 people, including one man from Wimbledon, have been charged with drugs and firearm offences following a series of early morning warrants in south London last week.

A total of 40 simultaneous warrants were executed on Wednesday, 18 September resulting in 28 arrests.

From Gap Road in Wimbledon, Brian Gilbert, aged 27, was charged with four counts of handling stolen goods, one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis), five counts of concealing/disguising/transfering criminal property, one count of selling/transferring a prohibited weapon/ammunition, one count of forging a registration mark/registration document and one count of making/supplying an article for use in fraud (Fraud Act 2006).


He has been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.
