Six teams take part in the Surrey team foil championships

Wimbledon fencers took place in the the Surrey team foil championships at St Peter's School in Guildford on Sunday (May 31).

There were six teams entered two from Wimbledon, one men's team and one women's who fenced in a poule unique with the men.

The competition was won by Streatham Fencing Club with Wimbledon men coming second and the women finishing fifth overall but winning the women's trophy as top female team.
