Community forum reviews local issues
Residents, businesses and community organisations in Wimbledon are all invited to come along to the next meeting of the Wimbledon Community Forum.
It takes place on Tuesday September 6 at the Mansel Road Centre in Wimbledon, starting at 7.15pm.
Councilllor Simon Withey, Chairman of the Wimbledon Forum, said: "We have a great line up for our next meeting, including the opportunity to quiz our local London Assembly Member, Dick Tracey, on a whole range of topics.
"We'll also be looking at the management and upkeep of trees in Wimbledon as well as hearing from the local police following the recent disturbances we saw in parts of the borough.
"I would therefore encourage as many people as possible who live and work in Wimbledon to come along on 6th September. These meetings are a great chance for all residents to have your say and to question local elected representatives and council officers on the issues currently affecting our neighbourhood.”
