Local forum to discuss SW19 issues

The first of the new Wimbledon Community Forums takes place on Tuesday June 14, giving you chance to raise any local issues.

Councillor Simon Withey, Chair of the Forum, said: "All residents, from students to pensioners, can come along and have their say on issues affecting them in Wimbledon today. We want to hear your ideas on how they see Wimbledon developing in the future."

The meeting will include the chance to ask council officers about planning problems and Wimbledon Police about crime as well as an update on the Wimbledon Station development and the impact of the Olympics on Wimbledon.

There will also be an opportunity for a residents to speak on any issue they want to raise or discuss in a 'soap box' session. The Forum takes place at The Mansel Road Centre in Wimbledon, starting at 7.30pm.
