The Last Days of Summer will run over a September weekend

Wimbledon BookFest is back for 2020. The ‘Last Days of Summer’ live festival weekend will run from 12 -13 September 2020 with a programme of events on Wimbledon Common.

 

A bespoke open marquee is being constructed to ensure the popular annual festival abides by the Government regulations around Covid-19, following the change in rules earlier this month around open air events.

 

Matthew Syed, former Olympic Table Tennis Champion and author or Black Box Thinking and Rebel Ideas, has already been confirmed as the Festival's keynote speaker, with the full line-up being announced later this summer.

 

Organisers promise live events and activities for all ages, which they say has been made possible with the support from sponsors and those who responded to the Emergency Appeal.

 

Friends of Wimbledon BookFest will get priority booking for the 'Last Days of Summer' when tickets go on sale in late August. Events will also be digitally streamed.
