Volunteer to help keep the Wandle clean
The next River Wandle clean-up, organised by the Wandle Trust, takes place as follows:
Sunday March 13
11am to 3pm
North Road, Wimbledon
Meet here
Arrive in time for the Health and Safety briefing at 11am. Volunteers will get waders on and work through until 3 pm with a break at about 1pm for tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Trust. You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.
It is dirty work, so you are recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!
The nearest station to North Road is Haydons Road or Colliers Wood. The 200 bus stops on Haydons Road and is in walking distance to the site.
