There is parking in Garfield Road. Walk across the Recreation Ground alongside the school to find us just the other side of the footbridge. Haydons Road is the nearest station and the 156, 200 and 493 buses travel along Haydons Road too. Cyclists can join us by following the Trail up from Plough Lane or down from North Road.

Arrive in time for the Health and Safety Briefing at 11am If you arrive later than that, don't worry, you'll be asked to read the briefing and sign in to confirm your understanding of the guidelines, and agreement to adhere to them. You'll work through until 3pm with a break at about 1pm for tea, coffee and cake provided by us.  You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

Organisers supply a limited number of safety chest waders, plus protective gloves and other pieces of equipment including litter pickers, but ask volunteers wear old clothes and boots offering foot protection. For further information visit www.wandletrust.org.
