Wahaca outdoor film festival
On Sunday (June 29) Wahaca will be taking over the Big Screen on The Piazza in Wimbledon town centre.
Supported by Love Wimbledon, the event will bring you a fun filled day of Mexican inspired films and award winning shorts for the whole family.
Here's what's on:
1pm Nacho Libre – Jack Black's brilliant comedy packed with laughs from start to finish follows Jack as a luchador on his fight to save the children from the most fearsome wrestler in town.
3pm Oaxaca Film Festival short films – Named as one of the top 25 film independent festivals in the world, Oaxaca city’s very own, has grown to be one of the largest international film festivals in Latin America. We will be showcasing a selection of short films especially for the day.
5pm Fun in Acapulco – Elvis Presley's 1963 epic film shot in Acapulco – Mexico, is the perfect movie for a summer’s evening with scenic vistas and Latin-beat tunes.
Entry to the film festival is free for everyone, but arrive early if you want to bag a deckchair!
