The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
Tickets are selling fast for a thought-provoking drama being presented in Wandsworth by the New Stagers theatre group.
The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, by
Stephen Adly Guirgis, takes place
at 7.30pm from October 26-29 in St Anne's Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, SW18 2LR.
The New Stagers are one of south west London's longest established theatre groups.
The drama centres on a corner of Purgatory, where the trial is taking place of the greatest sinner in history. Called to the stand are eyewitnesses including the apostles, Caiphas the elder, Pilate and Satan, and expert witnesses including Freud and Mother Theresa. Meanwhile, Judas sits eternally in hell waiting for the verdict, visited constantly by just one man.
