  • Outpatient clinics, minor procedures and ophthalmology
  • Outpatient physiotherapy, podiatry and diabetic retinal screening
  • Assessment and investigation services
  • Community mental health services
  • Community pharmacy services.

The building has now been passed from South London Health Partnership (SLHP) to Community Health Partnerships (CHP) who will manage the facility as head tenant.

NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been leading on the planning of the clinical services at the facility and is currently working with the appointed service providers to equip and prepare the building for when it opens its doors to patients on April 1.

Service providers at the centre include Sutton and Merton Community Services, South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust and St George's Healthcare NHS Trust/ Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust (ophthalmology).

The Nelson Health Centre will be a spacious and modern environment allowing more people to be seen, diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible."

This is a prime example of positive partnership working. We are pleased to have delivered this special facility to the residents of Merton. We wish all those involved from now on the best for the future and look forward to it opening on 1 April."
