AGM For Merton Park Ward Residents

Guest speaker is Merton's Leisure Services boss

Merton Park Ward Residents' Association holds its Annual General Meeting tomorrow (July 1) at 8pm at Merton Park Primary School in Erridge Road.

The Committee will be elected and there will be a report on a busy year for the Association.

Comments and questions from residents are always invited and the AGM is a particularly good time to talk about what we have achieved and what lies ahead.

Following the formal business of the AGM, guest speaker, Christine Parsloe will talk about Merton's Leisure Services.

Christine, the Guardian Newspaper Public Servant of the Year, can cover plenty of subjects: She may speak about the fun and the terrors of her organising Merton's Olympic celebrations, hosting the Queen through her 2012 visit to the borough and arranging for Andy Murray to receive the Freedom of the Borough before his title defence.
