Event to help make Merton 'dementia-friendly'

If you or someone in your family has experience of dementia, there's a special event taking place in Merton on July 26.

The half-day event is specifically for people who have been recently diagnosed with dementia, family members, unpaid carers and those who have previously been carers.

Merton borough council and Merton LINk are jointly hosting the event on July 26 from 10am-1pm. It will take place at Vestry Hall, London Road, Mitcham, CR4 3UD.

Why come along?  

• Find out more about plans for developing dementia services in Merton
• Help decide what future services should look like.
• Find out about the proposed new Merton Local Dementia Alliance and how you can take part.

Arrive anytime from 9.45am – tea and coffee served. A free lunch will be provided at 1pm after the event.
