Knight Rider's car is back on the road

David Hasselhoff was reunited with his infamous Knight Rider KITT car to create a scene which caused a stir in Wimbledon on Thursday (December 9).

Hasselhoff will be making his pantomime debut playing Captain Hook in New Wimbledon Theatre's Peter Pan, which opens on Friday (December 10).

He is best known for his role as Michael Knight in the hit 1980s TV series, Knight Rider, and he posed with the black KITT car outside the theatre in The Broadway.

Hasselhoff, also well known as Mitch Buchanan in TV's Baywatch, will appear alongside star of Pineapple Studios Louie Spence who plays the cabin boy, Roger, in the theatre's biggest pantomime cast to date.

Only last year, another famous Baywatch star - Pamela Anderson - attracted national headlines when she appeared in the theatre's production of Aladdin.

The performance runs until Sunday January 16. Hasselhoff will play Captain Hook in the following performances: Fri 10 - Fri 17 December, Sun 19 December (5.30pm only), Tue 21 - Thu 30 December and Sun 9 - Sun 16 January inclusive.
