Staff and residents enjoy the treats at an afternoon tea party
A Wimbledon care home has been praised by the Duchess of York and her family, who sent gifts to the team members as a token of appreciation, and to thank them for their hard work.
The gifts were sent to the Wimbledon Beaumont home in Arterberry Road after a resident who was one of the relatives of the consultant to Duchess of York passed away at the home in February.
The Duchess of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and consultant to the Duchess, said they were truly grateful for the care the resident received while at the home.
Staff and residents at Wimbledon Beaumont marked the occasion with an afternoon tea party, enjoying all the delicious treats that had been sent to them, including chocolate cakes and coffee and walnut cakes.
General Manager Gayane Selimyan said, “We would like to express a very special thank you to the Royal family for their gifts. I feel very privileged to be part of this amazing team, who continue to work tirelessly, and I’m proud of the professionalism and duty of care they uphold during these unprecedented times.
“We would like to send our deepest condolences to relatives and friends at this time, we will be thinking of them going forward.”
