Cyclist Dies After Raynes Park Collision


Police are appealing for witnesses

A 25-year-old cyclist has died after a collision involving a car in Kingston Road, Raynes Park.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which took place at 00.45am on Saturday (July 19).

The cyclist, who has not yet been named, was taken to hospital. But he died at 9.45am.

Police said the driver of the car, a silver Honda Accord, stopped at the scene. The driver - a 32-year-old man - was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuiry by dangerous driving.
