Man on robbery charges now in custody
A man charged with robbery offences who fled from the dock at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court has been re-arrested.
Jeremy Pearce (right), aged 21, fled from the court on Monday (January 3) after being remanded in custody on three counts of robbery and one of possessing an offensive weapon.
But he voluntarily walked into a south London police station on Friday (January 7) and was taken into custody. He will be committed to court in due course.
