New Witness Plea After Fatal Road Accident In Morden


Were you driving a Toyota when a car hit a tree in the early hours?

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Morden in which a car hit a tree have made a new appeal for a witness to come forward.

Officers were called at 2.12am on Tuesday September 25 to a car in collision with a tree in Bishopsford Road, Morden.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade. The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they were now
appealing for the driver of a black Toyota Corolla to come forward. The driver - who is being treated solely as a witness - is believed to have seen the moments prior to the collision. They were driving towards the Rosehill roundabout.

They added: "
We await the results of the post-mortem examination.Enquiries into the circumstances continue however, it is not believed that anyone else was in the car or any other vehicles were involved. No arrests  have been made."
