CCTV images have been issued of a man police wish to speak to following a robbery on-board a train travelling between Wimbledon and Worcester Park stations

At just after 1.30pm on Sunday 31 January, the victim was approach by a man in the train carriage who showed him a knife and threatened to stab the victim if he didn’t hand over his phone.

The victim gave the man his earphones, and the robber walked off before returning and demanding the victim’s phone and threatened to stab him again.

Instead the victim offered cash, and the man followed him to a cashpoint at Worcester Park before running away.

Officers from British Transport Police (BRP) believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
