Both victims attacked in South Park Gardens last Sunday
Two boys aged 16 have been arrested and charged by police investigating the rape of two females on Sunday, 20 December, in South Park Gardens, Dudley Road, SW19.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command arrested the pair on 21 December and charged them on Tuesday, 22 December.
A 16-year-old boy from Merton was charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against two victims. He was further charged with Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) and possession of a knife.
A second 16-year-old boy also from Merton was charged with two counts of rape against the same two victims.
Both will appear in custody at Wimbledon Youth Court on Wednesday, 23 December.
