Assailant put plastic bag over female victim's head
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed on Wimbledon Common.
Officers were called on Wednesday, 12 August after a woman reported that she had been robbed on Wimbledon Common between 1pm and 1.45pm.
The victim stated she had been walking her dog in a wooded area near the centre of the Common when she bent down to use a plastic bag to clean up after the dog.
A male suspect approached her from behind and put a plastic bag over her head.
He then took her watch, her jewellery and phone, and pushed her over before leaving the scene.
