Pedestrian in her sixties in critical condition in hospital

A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car on Morden Hall Road this Monday (14 December).
The pedestrian in her sixties was rushed to hospital after the collision which took place at around 8.15pm.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries but was not arrested.
Enquiries continue to locate and inform the victim’s next of kin.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton are particularly keen to speak to anyone that was on board a route 118 bus that was stationary at a bus stop by Morden Lodge at the time of the collision and may have witnessed the collision.
They would also like to hear from any road users who may have captured in incident on dashcam footage.
