Chris Frost's funeral will take place in Wimbledon

The funeral of Chris Frost, Chief Executive of the Merton Voluntary Services Council (MVSC), will take place in Wimbledon on Tuesday November 26.

Chris (right), who was 67 and lived in Colliers Wood, died suddenly in her sleep earlier this month just hours after picking up a prestigious award at the Compact Awards ceremony in Whitehall.

Her funeral will be held at St Andrew's Church in Herbert Road, Wimbledon, at 12 noon on November 26.

Chris's family have requested that instead of flowers, anyone who wants to make a charitable contribution should donate to the Merton Community Fund. People who wish to wear colour are invited to do so in memory of Chris’s vibrant personality.

Additional tributes to Chris were made at last night's full Merton council meeting.
