Easy ride followed by pub lunch

A Christmas lunch cycle ride from Wimbledon to Richmond, organised by the Merton Cycling Campaign, is taking place on Sunday (December 12).

Cyclists are meeting at the Wimbledon station forecourt at 10.30am for an easy-paced, mostly off-road, ride across Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.

They will arrive at the riverside White Cross pub in Richmond around noon where they will meet up with other cyclists from other London boroughs.

Organisers say any bike is suitable and all you need to bring is lights and money. For more information, email: richard.m.evans@talktalk.net.
