Wimbledon residents are invited to have their say
Traffic management in Wimbledon town centre and parking outside local shopping parades are top of the agenda for the next Wimbledon Community Forum meeting. New planning permitted development rights are also due to be discussed and residents, businesses and community organisations in Wimbledon are all invited to come and have their say.
Cllr Henry Nelless, Chairman of the Wimbledon Forum, says: “Community forum meetings are a great way for you to tell the Council how you think our local neighbourhood can be improved.
“At next week’s meeting we’ll be discussing ways to alleviate traffic issues in Wimbledon town centre as well as considering the results of a recent review of parking in local shopping parades. This review was secured by Conservative councillors in a full council motion last year and seeks to address the problems raised time and again by both residents and businesses with parking provision outside Wimbledon’s various shopping parades. I would therefore encourage as many people as possible to come along on 12th June to hear the results.”
