Christmas Gifts with a Conscience from Mary’s Living & Giving

Exclusive range of luxury candles supports Save the Children

The candles created by Parks London, famed for making candles for brands such as Jo Malone, Mulberry, Cowshed and Crabtree & Evelyn, are currently stocked in the Mary’s Living & Giving Portobello shop and will be available in all Mary’s Living & Giving shops across London from 16th November for £28.

Proceeds from the sale of the candles goes directly to support Save the Children’s life-saving work across the world. All candles are made in England from sustainable and renewable resources using a unique blend of natural wax from certified vegan sources.

The candles will be available in three luxury blends:
• Outspoken - combining the abundant grapefruit groves of coastal Spain with a sun-drenched morning in an English country garden, this jasmine based scent is enchanting and outspoken.
• Compassionate - this pomegranate based scent has the sensuality of a daring red dress. Dark and enigmatic, the ruby rich juices of this celebrated fruit have inspired this opulent aroma. Drama and compassion in a glass.
• Courageous - think Breakfast in Tuscany. Plump, sunwarmed figs blend with juicy cassis in a thrilling scent that will dance across a room. Be courageous.

Shoppers can buy the luxury candle range for loved-ones this Christmas by visiting any of the nineteen Mary’s Living & Giving shops across London including Barnes, Chiswick, Ealing Green, Fulham, Wandsworth Town and Wimbledon.

Mary’s Living & Giving Shop for Save the Children is a premium retail concept launched by Mary Portas and Save the Children back in 2009. It is where a group of like-minded volunteers and consumers create a place (a bustling market), and where designer brands and people donate their products and time. True recycling in the heart of their community

Mary's Living & Giving Shops for Save the Children aren’t simply about shopping, they are a retail concept based on Mary Portas’ philosophy that generosity and the collaboration of people’s ideas, beliefs and values can bring a heart to the community while raising significant funds to support the global work of charity Save the Children.

While carefully edited for the shop floor, absolutely every one of the 1,000,000 donations (so far received by the shops) have been used to raise many millions of pounds to help Save the Children positively impact the lives of children around the world. 100% of monies made in the Mary’s Living & Giving shops go to Save the Children, therefore providing a platform that balances a high end fashion offering with a social consciousness.
