Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport
Tubes and trains services affected by engineering work
During the coronavirus outbreak do not use public transport unless your journey is essential. If you do travel you must wear a face mask.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, the following service changes will be in place until further notice:
- Waterloo & City line service,
- No Night Tube or Night Overground service,
- A reduced service is operating on all London Underground, London Overground, DLR, TfL Rail and London Trams.
- Some stations will be closed.
TfL says this information changes frequently. Check before you travel.
The track closure programme is changing regularly because of the restriction of work sites due to Covid-19, therefore check regularly for the latest information.
Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July
No service between Hammersmith and Barking.
Sunday, 5 July
All lines in the Twickenham area will be closed all day Sunday for maintenance work.
- Trains between London Waterloo and Reading will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham and will make extra stops at Barnes and Hounslow.
- Trains between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham and will make extra stops at Hounslow. Some trains will leave London Waterloo earlier than normal and call at stations between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow.
- Buses will run between Barnes and Hounslow via Richmond and Twickenham, connecting with the altered train services above.
- The circular train services to and from London Waterloo via Kingston will be altered to run between London Waterloo and Shepperton via Wimbledon, connecting at Teddington with the bus services.
- Buses will run between Teddington and Barnes via Twickenham and Richmond.
- The afternoon and evening train services between London Waterloo and Kingston via Hounslow and Twickenham will not run. Please use other trains and the replacement bus.
Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July
No service between Hammersmith and Barking.
Sunday 12 July
The lines between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow will be closed all day Sunday for maintenance work.
Train services between London Waterloo and Woking via Staines will be altered to run via Richmond and Twickenham.
Bus services will run between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow.
The afternoon and evening services to Kingston via Hounslow will not run.
Bus services will run during the afternoon and evening between Barnes and Twickenham via Hounslow, connecting at Twickenham with train services to Kingston.
Sunday 12 July
Before 12:00, no Southern services will run between Shepherd's Bush and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central.
Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July
No service between Hammersmith and Barking
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July
No service between Hammersmith and Barking
