Bouncing Off The Walls

London's first trampoline park set to open next month in W3

A new trampoline park will soon be opening in Acton - just in time for the summer break-up.

Called Oxygen Freejumping, it will be London's first such park and will create 50 jobs. Applications are now being taken for court monitors, receptionists, trampoline instructors and food and beverage staff.

The huge warehouse facility will offer hour-long freejumping sessions with access to dodgeball courts, air bags, “walk the wall trampolines” and an obstacle course; Family Bounce sessions; fitness classes in the park and on rebounders in the modern ‘O Fitness’ studio; a professional trampolining academy for aspiring gymnasts and Teen Takeovers which include two hours of strobe-lit bouncing with a live DJ.

A mezzanine level overlooking the main freejumping area will offer a café for parents to relax in with free high speed WIFI, homemade pizza and coffee. With a selection of private rooms for children’s parties, the park will also be open to local schools looking to use the facility for PE lessons and after school clubs.

Local businesses and sports clubs are also invited to come down to the venue for team bonding with a difference.

Five more sites are planned for the next 12 months and a further 15 in the pipeline.

David Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, says:

“Oxygen is the first brand of its kind in the UK and each Oxygen Park will ensure the highest standards of quality and service. As a result, our staff will receive the very best training. We’re excited to open our first ever Park in West Acton and we’re looking forward to seeing local people find out just how much pleasure can be had from jumping!”

A special launch event will be taking place on Thursday July 16, 2015, and the venue at Kendal Avenue West Acton will open to the public on Monday July 20.

The Park will be open from 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 8am – 9pm on Sundays.
