Man Fights for Life After Kingston Vale Collision


82-year-old victim hit by car on A3 near Rydal Gardens


The police would like to hear from any drivers that were in the vicinity

An 82-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after being involved in a collision on the A3 this Saturday (31 July).

He was hit by a car near the junction with Rydal Gardens in Kingston Vale shortly before 4.49am.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin has been informed.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping officers with their enquiries. There have been no arrests.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident and would like to hear from other drivers who were in the area at the time including those with dash cams.
