Le Pain Quotidien means "The Daily Bread" and was founded in 1990 as an artisanal bakery in Belgium, when chef Alain Coumont struggled to find the perfect bread for his restaurant in Brussels. Since then it has grown into a global restaurant brand with more than 200 restaurants in over 20 countries, serving delicious, slow-fast food – all handmade with the best organic and local ingredients.
