Ambulance service and planning on the agenda
The next Merton Park residents' association meeting on Tuesday (March 6) will give chance to discuss a variety of issues.
Kath Start, Director of Work Force and Chief Nurse, South East Coast Ambulance Service, will be speaking about how the regional ambulance service faces today's challenges.
Then Tara Butler, from Merton council's planning department, will give a presentation to explain the relevance of the council's new document identifying possible development sites in the borough.
The consultation period for the proposals, involving the potential development of more than 60 sites in the borough, closes on Friday March 23.
There will also be an opportunity to raise issues, including the development of the Nelson Hospital site into a Local Care Centre, with the Ward Councillors.
The meeting starts at 8pm at Merton Park Primary School in Erridge Road.
