Aim to help you fit car seats corectly
Car seat safety experts will be delivering potentially life-saving knowledge to parents in Colliers Wood on Friday (October 31).
Badly fitted safety seats are a major contributing factor to car accidents and remain the leading cause of child fatalities in Europe.
Safety checks carried out by Good Egg Safety in 2012 discovered that 60% of child safety seats in the UK had been fitted incorrectly. Good Egg Safety and car seat manufacturer Maxi-Cosi are working in partnership to deliver special clinics across the country to help parents to fit their child's car seat correctly.
Andrew Ratcliffe, Managing Director of Maxi-Cosi UK, said: "The correct fitting of car seats is absolutely vital to the safety of your child while travelling by car. Having experts on hand to physically highlight any problems and demonstrate the correct methods of fitting a child seat will make things easier for parents to understand."
The clinic takes place at the Sainsbury's superstore in Colliers Wood from 11am – 4pm.
