Wimbledon's Fruit In Abundance

Taste the local fruit harvest

Abundance Fruit Day

Saturday September 21, 11am- 2pm

St Mark’s Church garden & hall (behind Wimbledon Library)

A chance to buy some jams, jellies, chutneys, cakes and pies, all made from local fruit.

A fruit press producing lovely fresh juice which people can taste and buy, free jam tasting, Wimbledon honey, make your own fruit pie, 'longest peel’, Human Fruit Machine and other fruity games, fruit dyed yarns and spinning wheel, and entertainment from the International Ukulele Orchestra.

This event showcases things people can do with all the free fruit around Wimbledon, raises funds to keep Abundance Wimbledon going, and will be a lot of fun. If you would like to help make this a success, here is what you can do:

  • Organisers need volunteers to help run the stalls. If you can spare an hour or two on Sat 21st Sept - please let us know.
  • They need things to sell. If you are making jams, chutneys (anything made with local fruit), and have a jar or two to spare, please donate it and we’ll sell it on one of the stalls.
  • Put up a poster. Download one HERE or ask Abundance for a printed poster.

To get in touch about any of those, email abundancewimbledon@gmail.com  or phone 0208 946 3750 and ask for Joyce.
